Sorry you have lost me on that ....... is the a right and wrong way haha ...
I was remarking on Billz comment regarding the luggage rack. As I said - there's always someone comments when we see a Z3 with rack installed. The common currency is that the raised bar should be at the front so that, if you brake hard, that and case isn't thrown forwards into the back of you head. This is especially important if you don't have roll-hoops fitted.

Having a Z4 I really don't know which way is right to be honest.

Having a Z4 I really don't know which way is right to be honest.
Its only right if you have the BMW suitcase, as Gaz said further back up the thread, as with the lip of the rack positioned to the back of the car, It would be impossible to get at the lock on the case to lock it on.

Never thought about it... and haven't ever put a case on it either ....

I have got the BMW suitcase (very nice too ) but have never used it .... as its only me who is in it most of the time got plenty of room !!!!

Hi, I guess it must have been. We used to race F2 stock cars there a good few years ago!:)=))

To be honest Tony I have only lived here for about 17 months so it would be before my time...

Ha,ha, it's more than that in years Jan, in fact it scares me to death thinking how many years =))=)). If you check out the Events forum you'll see our little get together is already taking shape on Sept. 10th. 19 cars up to now. Keep an eye on the thread as I add more detail.
