Already replaced the rim - went the whole hog and got a new one from Germany! I was like a kid at Christmas opening his big present when it turned up!!!

Holy shi..., I bet that wasn't cheap.
I'll bet it cost less than what I've spent on rims that don't fit, though - but that's a story for another thread!!!

Cheers - for the link. I've got a couple of local guys who can look at it, but I cant get onto that until we know about the suspension....! Fingers crossed.....
She’s up on stilts so we can check out the crash damage on the suspension. Bad news and good news. The other rear wheel needs replacing but we can’t find any significant damage to the suspension. Which is a bit weird because when the wheel was on, it wasn’t sat straight. We assumed it was suspension damage but maybe not! I’ll get a new rim and then see how it fits....!
It is covered in muck (and some hay) so however the crash happened, it looks like they started or ended in a field!!!

Something we did find something that was broken - is this pipe something to do with the fuel tank?
Just out of interest, where did you get it from, and for how much? I need to get a new one myself!

Cheapest I could find online - but still not cheap! I saw someone offering a set of 4 refurbs on eBay for £1200 but that seemed too much given that a set of new ones from the site above is less than £1800.

I used them to replace one of the wheels on the Alpina, good site.
Thats good to know, as I have ordered a second wheel from them now.... Hoping it will get here next week!

Superglue and epoxy resin are fabulous products an could turn a £300 repair into £10 repair
