shame about the broken roof. did you particularly wait for the hottest day of the year to close it.... =))
Just for you Pete, it's not broken really just that if I'd been seen "playing" in my car during work time the manager would be been obliged to say something.

I'll let you know Steve. The last time I put 4 new tyres on a car at the same time was when I was an old boy driving a Mini back in the early 70's. believe it or not. Four Dayton Mustangs, on 51/2 J steel rims, and that made a car with good road holding into a great one!

Tony.

ps. You've no doubt heard of the saying "More haste, less speed" ? Well last night I wanted to fit the wheels before going out for a beer/pool. When I'd got them on I rolled the car out of the garage to have a good look and found a scraping noise from the front wheels, it didn't take long for the penny to drop though. The spacers had stuck with both the old front wheels and the bolts were just rubbing on the back plates
So, off they came and refitted with the 12mm spacers. Ten past nine when I made the Swan.=))

Wish I had mate, been a hot bi*** of a day at work. 6 weeks ago I spent a whole day clearing snow off my drive to get my car out on the road. Had a chat with a coupe of guys I used to fish with as I was cutting the grass tonight for the first cut this year. Looking forward to a full day of testing tomorrow. Roll on holiday time.

My lawns on its third cut and the Bowling green on its 8th cut tomorrow, and still plenty of time for the Zed, slacking mate!

Will do, nice run to Torksey, quick run round with the mower and Lunch in the pub Magic
O and by the way you will find out retirement and spare time don't always go hand in hand

Never leave your roof down while parked up at work.
I learnt the hard way, my boss chucked a load of garden rubbish in my car and I new it was him because of the pine needles.
I spent the rest of the day cleaning my car instead of working.
He did not say a word .... ;)
