Overall I think they did a pretty poor job of Dawn's car Geoff. Then she was unlucky enough to find an AA man who was clueless about adjusting the bonnet rubber stops.

It’s the niggly things that I’m miffed about...they all add up to make it a frustrating exercise. Thankfully, there’s a year’s guarantee so I am going to ask about these.

Sorry not been on for days. The house is taking over at the moment. Yes i've had my car for 6 years now and the boot just popped up whenever it fancied. Tony finally sorted it early on in the year with the help of Roy @Rha. It's not popped open since.

What was the problem ? What was done to sort it ?

@t-tony,Tony actually moved the locking mech in its housing which had either moved or worn, tricky for me and most but he had it done in a couple of minutes. You have very little space up in the housing where it's fastened.
Maybe he'll get back to you with more concise instructions.
