I purchased a home in a tiny village called New Luce. Its very quiet and peaceful, perfect for me. I think there's about 70 households in the entire parish.
It gets quite a lot of money per year from the windfarms nearby so it has fantastic facilities given the size of the place. A community owned pub restaurant and hotel that opens hopefully in January after a 2m refurb, a shop and post office.
It's in the moors on the southern uplands but only a 15 min drive to the nearest big town Stranraer.

I'm dropping the light off at the garage tomorrow, hopefully I'll have the car back in a few days.

Finally i have the car back.
I dropped it into a garage in Stranraer for an mot, failed on a dodgy headlight, the adjustment was kaput and the handbrake needed some work. I ordered a light from a breaker and dropped it off 2 days later. The car then sat outside the garage for nearly 4 weeks untouched while they stacked up even more vehicles.
After many phone calls and lots of it'll be done tomorrow bullshit i finally flipped, put the phone down and walked to the garage, after a few choice words the car was immediately stuck on a ramp and repaired.

Shouldn't have to be that way but i had to be a horrible c u next Tuesday to get the car back....

Anyway, new roof from jacks in a few weeks.

Yes, my head is turned now. I really like the look of the coupe, seems i can pick up an excellent example under 10k.
For under 10k you can get a looooovely example. Seems 4-7k for a high miler.

Went looked at one in Kilmarnock and it was £9995. Red. Subtle mods. Wasn't impressed for that kind of money. Considering what's out there.

Seen the red one on fb, looks stunning, but as I said on another thread there are absolutely loads for sale most have been on for many weeks but never lower their asking price.
Obviously that’s their choice but if it’s not selling you’d wonder why?

There was one on the Isle of Skye too. Paint was poor but he couldn't shift it for £4500. Being on Skye probably didn't help out.

Ok, the z3 decided today it didnt like power steering fluid anymore and proceeded to dump it on the ground. Ive had a look underneath and its the smaller of the 2 pipes thats gave up. The "top one" when looking from underneath.

Can i buy this pipe? Or do i need a new rack?

Hiw does that real oem thing work for an exploded diagram?

Thx

Search Google for RealOEM.com
Then put in your car details and search the site.

Hi, I've had a busy year so haven't been in here much.
I still didn't get the power steering fixed, I got a 1.9 rack from Mazza thinking I could just take the pipes off and fit to the 2.8, they were different and wouldn't go on, different connectors too.

Anyway, I'm putting the car away in a local barn for winter, if my interest peaks I may start again with getting it repaired. I may even sell up but with no power steering and needing an exhaust I wouldn't get much money for her

Just bought a golf gtd so I'll spend my time between that and the tiguan for now.
