Hello my incredible London Marathon runners!
I hope this email finds you all well and enjoying the evening sunshine (cos let’s face it….it seems to be raining for most of the daytime!).
But alas…the actual reason for my email...I just wanted to give you all an update on the results of all your hard work, dedication and support. Together, you have managed to raise a staggering amount…in fact…..this year, you have broken the record and raised the most amount of money this event has ever raised….an amazing £261,061!!
Once again, thank you so much for your support and hard work. Every penny you have raised will help us to continue the fight against MND and with your continued support it is a fight we can win.

MNDA have been great all the way through with fund raising ideas and inspirational emails just when you need them most and then when I received this one it looked like a good one to share.Snoops said:
Running wise I'm doing Reykjavik Half Marathon in August, Great North Run in September and then the big one is Cologne Marathon in October, plus lots of smaller local runs sprinkled in between so it's a busy time. But I'm having a break from training this weekend because there is no tearing me away from Zedfest, lets just pray for dry weather :-ss

I wish I was responsible for all the £261,061 but there was a couple of hundred others doing the London marathon for MNDA at the same time as me but it's a cracking total all the same. I was sad to hear you are unable to make Zedfest it would have been good to meet you and have a jaw over a few beers, maybe next who knows.
