Music makes you stop & think......

Was playing this album this afternoon and suddenly realized that it is almost 40 years old.
How time flies eh..!!!

Yeah, but the scary bit is realising that you're 40 years older too mate. I remember buying Dark side of the Moon when I was at college and my dear old mam saying "That sounds like a mournful row" and it seems like only yesterday.;)

I read in today's paper (so it must be true;)) that Phil Collins has been training and practicing for an up coming tour so that he can hammer the drum solo from "In the Air Tonight" as he's had some bad injuries etc.

ps. Could have got that Gorilla that @brilie saw a few miles from me !!=))

Amazing as a species we can be so creative but unfortunately so destructive as well consider how enlightened the human race has become especially since 1900

Some great music about years ago :p
But today's music if you can call it that is not very good :)
We always listen to the music of yesteryear :)

It is a good song Jimmy, when they first aired it on Radio 2 last week I wasn't expecting anything much to be honest but I was pleasantly surprised. I'm a Dire Straits and Skynerd fan too, don't tell HT he hates C-----y music with a passion!;), I have very diverse tastes in music and basically speaking, "if I like it I listen to it"
