MOT this morning.

Never in doubt it would pass with the previous owner it had! You just keep it in top condition

Should have got 1 advisory though - 'rear spoiler on the small side'. You need a bigger one

was this ever in doubt Roy a car looked after and sorted by Lee:whistle:

Mmmm I usually call ahead, make sure the garage courtesy car (shed) is available- I drop the Z3 off, drive away in the shed, expect a call saying it’s failed and it will cost £££ and will take a couple days. I return the shed, empty my wallet and get the Z back.

I later console myself by saying how much money I’ve saved by not leasing a a new car that doesn’t need an MOT. Then do forget about until the next year

Maybe Dino, but you got a very nice Z to drive around in, worth every penny. :)

Yes Lee certainly did all the major surgery Bazza to get this Z in real good condition, but the MOT test is never a certainty, ask LEE. The problem owners have is they just can't see what the tester sees unless they have a ramp. It's the smaller but not insignificant parts that usually make things harder on a test. Then you get the differant interpretations of the test as each individual tester sees it. So don't let's get carried away with what should be a definite pass, that's where I might have come unstuck. I've allways been quietly confident when I know the vehicle well, but having only owned this one for 6 mths I was naturally nervy. Well it passed and alls well that ends well.

Think Al was going so well in the twisties I really didn't need to overtake Tony, shows how well the 1.9s in the right hands can make progress especially in the twisties. Enjoyed driving behind him and not feeling the need to push or overtake. :highfive: Can I say more.?????

I'll show this to potential sponsors when I try to get myself a Z Car ;)

TBH I've never driven a 1.9 in anger Roy, but many people have said that in the twisty bits they're as good as a 6 pot.

My car passes it's MOT every year..my brother is the tester!!!
NOT really I just bung them an extra 50 quid to get it through..

Never a good time for that light to come on Roy. First time it happened on my Z4 was when I was on my way to Grantham Hospital for my MRI scan.

Tony.
Hi Tony
I hope your better than me when you have to have MRI, as I hate small places.
Had to have one in January just went outside Peterborough hospital and sat in open space.
Hope I don't have another one for quite some time.

I can understand how you would feel Harold, I was a little apprehensive the first time but the operator had to keep asking if I was awake, so no mate it doesn't bother me a bit.

Tony.
