Missed this bargain Z3M today

@Paulro - How much/little did the "barn find" go for?
Didn't sell but they are looking for around the guide price 8-10k.
The other with 50k miles and looked very nice made £17.500.00.
Makes yesterday's an even bidder miss.

That's ridiculously cheap! The roadster I was looking at is £22k with 40k miles on

Wonder how a car with that history and low mileage ended up in an auction? Doesn't make any sense unless it was a repo or police crime sale? Don't suppose you had the reg number?

Check out North America @DutchScorpion You might find a bargain and shipping is not as much as you'd think! I shipped my car from the UK to Canada for £1045 and didn't speak to anyone living until it hit Canadian shore. Used my iPhone for everything along with a credit card and PayPal.. good luck JIM

Something like this !

I'm sure the person you spoke to on the phone had a friend, or a good customer, who wanted to buy it hence putting you off by lying about the reserve. If I was the vendor and I found out about that I'd go nuts.

Wouldn't trust BCA to sell my kids knackered bike.
You could be right

@FRANKIE I never spoke to a soul until the car made shore in Nova Scotia and only then because the jerk handling the brokerage was out for a drinking lunch that day. I filed a complaint about the garbled messages I got and he left for wetter pastures the next day. He contacted me after whining about losing his job, of course I had all the sympathy in the world and suggested I wasn't the reason he lost the job and that perhaps he needed to consult AA to see if he had a problem! Otherwise I probably could have got my car right to my driveway without speaking a word. So no the wife was right here but didn't know what I was texting. Mind you it took nearly a year from first contact to the car sitting on my driveway. JIM

Yep, just as I thought, Jimbo is a nasty piece of work with his head so far up his ass he can smell his own breath...

Jim, you have much more patience than I. Fair play to you mate.

Tony.

Well Tony after being "pulled from the grave by my hair" as the specialist stated I figured that I was pretty lucky and found a tolerance for ignorance I don't think I possessed before that! I don't feel that I was in any way responsible for the poor bas***d losing his job and just answered his superiors honestly, as I always do. Some can handle that others can't and everyone has an opinion and we're all welcome to hear them. Such as @HT's post above yours. And by the way it smells of Guinness Mike what's yours today?? JIM
