#ZedShed Minty’s Moon Mile 2.2

...In fact I think we should pop round, form a queue, and we can all sacrifice our time to take it in turns to er, test drive it...
We may be able to come to some monetary arrangement:whistle:

Didn’t realise they were having a track day tomorrow …. =))
Wouldn't be the first time she's been on a track Malc. Silverstone, Spa, & Cadwell Park just off the top of my head:whistle:

Well. I was offering my time for free. But if you really want to pay me . . . . .
Let me think about that..............no

Extended test drive complete. Got the tracking done on my drive out. Can’t fault anything. I did fit a pair of new exhaust gaskets that arrived late with some fresh bolts.

Much better

now she needs a real good clean the bodywork is so dusty.

I do like to see nuts and bolts on those exhaust flanges. Well done the Zedshed! Another one saved for the future.

Tony.

Yes they don't hang around..........PS don't look how long I’ve taken   =))

She's definitely looking like a car again:thumbsup:. Pleased the test drive went ok and the tracking is now done. I'll be picking her up soon:whistle:

Thanks to @Bozzy for a lift down to the ZedShed yesterday to meet up with Lee & Trev. Had a chat and look around the unit while my Zed was being MOTd. No problem, a pass with no advsories, just what was expected after all the great work the team have done. When we got her back we put her up on the ramp to have a close up and personal inspection with Lee & trev pointing out the details - she looks brand new. Excellent work chaps.

The drive home was mostly on Motorway/Dual Carriagway so not too much chance to enjoy any twisties. I can say though she felt much more 'planted' and sure footed and the steering much more precise. The new clutch is the biggest difference so far as it is much lighter than the old one and the brakes have a much firmer pedal. Also no 'clonking' from the front end over potholes and drain covers. I'll be able to try her out on more 'driving' roads I know up in the Peaks in due course. Lots of twisties up there.
So, all I can say is a HUGE :thankyou: to the team at ZedShed HQ, Lee @Lee , Trev @Oldguysrule , Gaz @GazHyde , Paul @pgunter and Hollie @Holliez4 and anybody else who helped who I don't know about. Also thanks to suppliers of parts, Andy @spurs fan in a coupe, Martin @Mnbrennan, Malc @Mazza, and Martin @ZEDonist UK.

An absolutely splendid job, at least mechanically. I've just got to sort the bodywork and clean up the interior now.

Think the A team might just have a celebration when she goes Dave (Mint), can't really say what it'll be for but think there's only TWO choices,
1: what a great job we've done.
2: Thank god it's gone.
Hard question Roy it would be close but I think option 2 would just scrape though.=))

Happy to hear you got the car back Dave, hope you enjoy the improvements mate.

Tony.

I'm with you on that Roy, Dave will about 130 before he wears that out again:thumbsup:

Tony.

@Holliez4 Hollie. Enjoyed the working on your Zed without a doubt Dave. Glad you enjoyed the drive and enjoy a few peak runs too.
