Great pics @Sean d :thumbsup:
What was I doing in that pic second to last :wacky:

Good to see you and Carrie got back home ok,hope Carrie wasn't late for work.
Our zed was filthy by the time we got home, but the sun was shining so it got a good wash and dry, full outdoor cover on :).

Steve

Looks like you all had a good time. Some great pics and as Russel has said I think a weekend stay there could well be on the cards.

Awesome pics guys :thumbsup::p

Yes I must agree that little cottage that Sean and Carrie stayed in was just excellent value for that money, very private and secluded.

A bit more from yesterday,as I didn't have time to write much after getting home, washing the zed, loading the van for today and getting some dinner :hungry:.

After we said our goodbyes to Sean and Carrie at Moyash,me,Sara,@Mint and @Mrs Mint carried on the cruise to Longnoor tea rooms for some light refreshments. I highly recommend the cream teas, very nice. When we came out of there the rain had stopped and the sun came out :cool:.

I think the little dance that Pauline looked like she was doing coaxed the sun out :whistle:.
From there a little detour to Buxton for fuel before heading back through Longnor to the Manifold Valley on the Mints tour, some fab roads there Dave :thumbsup: just a shame the ford was too deep for us....

No way I would have found these little jems on my own, thanks to Mints for a superb afternoon :D. Just a shame Mr and Mrs D had to head home early especially as we had the roofs down all afternoon.

Showed Mrs Grumps and she likes the look of it. They could be getting rather busy me thinks!
They used to be fully booked all the time as they used an agent, but it was getting to much for them so they dropped the agent which makes life a lot easier for them and has reduced the cost considerably.

We had a great time, even though the weather was rubbish in the morning. It was a different cruise, pouring with rain so roof up with @Bozzy leading with @Sean d in the middle and me as sweeper. Most of the time I couldn't see Steve due to the spray. A welcome cuppa in the Tissington tea room then round to Monyash to say our goodbyes to Sean and Carrie,@MrsD. We then went to Longnor for a light lunch and when we came out the rain had stopped and sun was breaking through. So tops down for a further run out to the moors and back through Swainsley Tunnel to the ford. Unfortunately due to the rain we couldn't cross the ford it was just too deep and fast flowing. Finally round to Ilam where we said goodbye to Steve & Sara.

A pleasure Steve, we'll have to do it again when there's been less rain about:whistle:

Oh yeah we would be up for that Dave :thumbsup:
I guess mid week is best to avoid the cyclists and caravans etc.
Will be a few weeks for us before we could arrange something though :rolleyes:.......but looking forward to it already :D.
