Mini meet, Peaks 29th

I'll see what I can do but don't wait for me. If I can free up my day I'll give you a call Steve and try and pick up the convoy en route.
Ok mate,I still have the same number.
Hopefully see you later :).

What a laugh today was, thrashing around in some seriously heavy rain with @Bozzy and Sara, also @Mint and Pauline, it doesn't matter what the weather is when you have great company and great cars, Carrie and I had a cracking time guys, thanks for the run, some very wet pics

No messing about at the ford in Tissington Mint

Great to see you all enjoying each other's company despite the weather. Who would have thought these photos were taken in June

A couple more of the cottages. only £55 per night and one of them sleeps 6, for that you also get fresh eggs in the morning and fishing rights to the Derwent, lots of Greyling and trout, John and Nancy own them and live in the farm house that dates back to the 1500s they are lovely people and really helped us out.

Have you got a number or web address for these guys please. Looks superb especially at those prices.....

Its Lea Shaw farm, Robin hood, Whatstandwell. I'll get the number off Carrie, I first went over 20 years ago, nothing has changed so don't expect anything modern but its very clean and the welcome is second to none, they really are wonderful people. Heres a couple of the interior to give you an idea

Great day with you all. It was fun playing in the rain, especially the fords. We decided against crossing the second one. Pics later.

Thanks Mr and Mrs D and the Mints for a thoroughly enjoyable day :D........despite the rubbish weather.
It turned out to great fun in the rain and the huge puddles across many of the roads,a few of which caught me unawares.

Look at that for a posh hot chocolate @MrsD . This is the cafe in tissington village which has it's own resident cat.
