What a laugh today was, thrashing around in some seriously heavy rain with @Bozzy and Sara, also @Mint and Pauline, it doesn't matter what the weather is when you have great company and great cars, Carrie and I had a cracking time guys, thanks for the run, some very wet pics

Looks like the weather never dampened the spirits and a good day was had ! 
You lot playing in my puddle again - 'ooligans !

A very enjoyable day. I remember when the sun shined.
A couple more of the cottages. only £55 per night and one of them sleeps 6, for that you also get fresh eggs in the morning and fishing rights to the Derwent, lots of Greyling and trout, John and Nancy own them and live in the farm house that dates back to the 1500s they are lovely people and really helped us out.
Forgot to add that they even moved their car out of the barn so I could park the z under cover
It really is very picturesque and also has a beautiful walk along the Cromford canal, put a smile on the wifes face after the disappointment of Wilersley castle hotel, what a bloody dump that turned out to be.

Looks stunning and what a nice couple that own it . It makes a massive difference anywhere to be made to feel apart off.

Its Lea Shaw farm, Robin hood, Whatstandwell. I'll get the number off Carrie, I first went over 20 years ago, nothing has changed so don't expect anything modern but its very clean and the welcome is second to none, they really are wonderful people. Heres a couple of the interior to give you an idea
