Good to see your moving on with it mate, I love Monaco walnut but can't get the hydro film in the UK, I am going with piano black for now, its just high gloss mirror finish,

thats just it Sean, if you can have any wood then there is no point in going for something that was oem, i don't know if it will work but I'm going to try, and if it fails i will keep trying until its done. i am considering whether its feasible to use a sticky backed acetate or a 1mm sheet of clear plastic, that way i could use the film on the underside and the plastic would be the surface, that way it could be made to just stick over the original trim.
this would give me the option to swap it out when ever i fancy a change.

still cant settle on a grain, so heres something completely different

now this would go well with my beige trim, I can now take the zed on safari.

Looks like Alice Cooper's "Billion Dollar Babies" album cover

I decided to try a difficult pattern, then I know I can get a great result with wood burl, though I am liking the snake skin, I will fit it and see how it goes with my spotty Oregon leather trim.

Interesting choice Jason, I like it! JIM
I agree, interesting choice but won't you feel like you got swallowed by a giant anaconda everytime you drive to tesco? ;) seriously I like something completely different.. Look forward to a pic:thumbsup:

I nice individual look mate and should go well with your beige interior.
Will you have it fitted for the Forest of Dean Cruise as I'd love to have a closer look.

but then again i am watching a few old/vintage smiths clocks on ebay, maybe a vintage clock would be better.
