@g8jka My 1.9 seemed to have power held back when I had issues that I threw parts at a couple of years ago, finally solved that by putting a new oem Maf on it, transformed the car and no trouble since. Viewing the old one on diagnostics it didn't appear to be the problem which sent me off in different directions searching for the cause. Before I changed the Maf I changed the Disa as that was making the clacking noise, however it wasn't the root cause. Maf replacement restored all the power instantly. I would add I did try spray cleaner on the old one but that killed it completly.

Hi guys. Also having pretty much the same issue. Runs rough with what feels like limited power when cold. When it warms up it feels like a different car and the tone from the exhaust is smoother. However it occasionally reverts to running roughly with a feeling of limited power
. Any ideas? I'm pretty new to all of this.

Get a code reader on it before you start replacing random parts let us know the results if you have codes set. Must say it sounds like a duff maf, I had same with mine when I finally put an oem replacement maf on it restored it to full power. Do not use cheap pattern parts you end up paying twice when they fail or don't work correctly. If your ona budget try a used one from one of the breakers who are on here
