Our Fred bathes in the sea, stream or river. He don't seem to mind if it's thick with mud either. He goes to the vets once a year for his booster and kennel cough jabs then he's "good to go" for another 12 months.
He loves it when Jill hoses her plants etc, he loves to get soaked.
The very first time we "introduced" him to the hose he was a bit of a "scaredie cat" .......but ........ came home from work one day and he'd "faced his demons", so to speak, and he pulled a 20mtr hose from it's reel and chewed it into hundreds of bits. The longest bit wouldn't have reached the bottom of a bucket
His party trick is to "fight" a 2ltr plastic bottle of pop that I craftily shake before giving it to him. As soon as he bites it, the bottle spins and squirts him which in turn drives him crazy. He growls, barks and savages it until it's empty and stops squirting
There must have been a way to do this separately but I don't know how
