Let's see your Pets!

Here's our Sam, well almost, we bought this Beswick Golden Lab in Bridlington nearly 30 years ago when he was 2 years old. We have to watch the grandson as he has taken a shine to it and considering we paid around £40 it's probably worth a bit more now. A dead ringer for the old lad too.

I expect you all take your pets to be washed and cut at the local dog grooming shop :p
My sister owns here own shop .......... :)
She has been doing grooming since she was 13 :)
She has a special way with all animals :p
She even has booking for this Christmas for people's pets :)
It's very hard to get a appointment........ :p
She always very busy ;)

I just did not and would not allow pets in the bedroom anymore.
Years ago, we had an old tom that had the run of the house and as I was walking past our bedroom, I had to do a double take.
The cat was doing that 'pawing thing' with its front legs and urinating on the bed.
I had to bin the mattress, the whole lot.
First cat I have ever launched into space.

Our Fred bathes in the sea, stream or river. He don't seem to mind if it's thick with mud either. He goes to the vets once a year for his booster and kennel cough jabs then he's "good to go" for another 12 months.

He loves it when Jill hoses her plants etc, he loves to get soaked.

The very first time we "introduced" him to the hose he was a bit of a "scaredie cat" .......but ........ came home from work one day and he'd "faced his demons", so to speak, and he pulled a 20mtr hose from it's reel and chewed it into hundreds of bits. The longest bit wouldn't have reached the bottom of a bucket=))

His party trick is to "fight" a 2ltr plastic bottle of pop that I craftily shake before giving it to him. As soon as he bites it, the bottle spins and squirts him which in turn drives him crazy. He growls, barks and savages it until it's empty and stops squirting=))

A mate of mine owns a very smart apartment full of mega kit, HiFi, Flat Screens etc.
He got himself a new girl friend, who owned a 'house rabbit'.
When she moved in, he grudgingly (love) let her bring it with her.
When he got home from work one day, he could not work out why none of his kit worked, and then he spotted the chewed wires.
=))
Needles to say, it was rabbit pie and the end of a relationship.........

'Comet' is booked for a full groom next Tuesday.

Mobile groomer coming to me with van etc, just needs extension lead plugging in.
That way don't have to put dirty dog in the Z.

Frankie, our Sam would have been a great front seat passenger, he would have loved it.
