I probably will not use the door cards as mine are extended leather and in good nick. I might put them in the for sale section or I might use them as mod guinea pigs.
The drivers seat could do with a couple of minor repairs but I will dry fit them first to make sure I a not wasting my time.
How did this happen? I was just going to run this car how I got it.lol
Had the same thoughts with my blue Z3. Buy it, clean it, keep it the way it is. Next thing you know I've ordered a new set of wheels, E46 330 front brake calipers, uprated discs and pads. How the hell did that happen =))

I could be interested in the door cards, as mine also has door airbags and it's nowhere as common as the plain ones... I'm thinking of switching over the interior of mine to the beige version... right now I only have the seats in beige.

How much do door cards go for? It would be good to get something back on them.

Thanks. The next thing on my list is a different set of wheels. I could kick myself for not buying those Bayerns off Dino but they seemed too dear at the time. I did make an offer but I was being a tight arse.lol

I spent the best part of today making a Perspex wind blocker to fit my chrome hoops. Waiting for some edging trim to arrive and then i will post photos. All in it should come out at about £29 give or take the odd penny.

More progress. The smoked rear lights that came from the orient are surprisingly good quality for £90 delivered. The seals are not attached very firmly but using washing up liquid as a lubricant and taking a lot of care they went on ok. The orange side repeaters do not look right now so I have ordered some smoked ones off eBay. Then I will have to bake the front lights to de-tango them. Good job I am retired.

Yesterday the chrome trim arrived for my home-made wind blocker. Fitted the trim this morning and the blocker is ready to go. It's ok but knowing what I do now I could make the next one much tidier. Just got to find the enthusiasm to do it again.

And just as a Bruce Bonus there was enough Perspex left over to glaze a garden light that I have been refurbing for about 6 months. Should be finished ready for next winter.
