Bought a waste bin for my garage cos I was fed up with treading in/on bits of sticky tape and other crap that also stuck to my tyres. So why on earth did I cut it in half.
ANY IDEA'S WHATS BECOME OF THE BIT THATS MISSING.???????

Some sort of air scoop to help the engine breathe more easily?

and doesn't sit on anything too hot.
That was my initial thought, lot of hot parts where this goes. Perhaps some kind of metal heat shielding to wrap it in. The worst bit is getting something to fit, which I think you have sorted.

Now you can cut a hole in the bonnet and mount the other part of the bin in there, make sure you put a cable attached to the throttle body to the bin lid so when you hit the gas the bin lid opens. Should be better than this one! Just make sure people don't throw their rubbish in when it opens! LOL :)

How about a fan shroud @Rha ? Keep that engine cooled down but best to use large diameter pop rivets so they don't vibrate through as fast! JIM
