Love this one. Got to be one of the last manual BMW roadsters.
Actually one of the last of the Z roadsters ._
Production ends next year from what I read.
Only stock will be available.

Always a good day when you can put the tonneau on without fear of getting caught out

Anyway we set off without a plan as usual before I was instructed to drive to the Barrel Inn at Bretton for some liquid refreshment.

Has to be one of the best pub views in the Peak District and their lager shandy wasn't bad either. The other good thing about the Barrell Inn is that it's only a few minutes from The Yonderman Cafe.

Then on to Sparrowpit, and back home down Winnats Pass, through Castleton and on to Hathersage.

You can't beat it when the currant bun is out 🌞

Put me down for tool of the day - having managed to reattach the mirror button to the windscreen (after the appropriate loctite glue finally arrived) I've realised the button needed to be slightly offset to accommodate the rotation required to lock it in place :bashhead:

Now I need to work out how I'm going to release the glue to get the button off. BUGGER!

Heat and twist. Carefully. Needs a lot of heat, may melt plastic.

Nothing finer on a Friday morning than getting out with the top down and taking the narrow back roads to enjoy the views they often afford 🌞

Well I suppose there is one thing better - sitting in the garden outside the Toll Bar fish & chip shop in Stoney Middleton enjoying a tray of their finest with a can of Dandelion & Burdock

Service & MOT day today - passed with flying covers despite a couple of ill-advised advisories.

Mechanic very impressed with the overall general condition of the car - unlike the previous facelift I had which he said resembled a sieve underneath
