That’s the plan.

Going to fit a roof liner in both my 1.9 and 2.8 prefacelift Zeds
Be interesting to see the outcome pal, I asked on here a few months back and was told it couldn't be done, not that I normally let that stop me :D

You cant trust what our instructions say in the US, They know its just a bunch of words on some paper. We NEVER read or follow direction!!!

Well on my birthday last week I decided I needed to treat myself, so went looking and look what I found..... :D:D:D

Unfortunately the seller wasn’t selling them on their own so I had to buy what it was attached to....

So my dilemma is now, I own 3 x Z3s:
  • 1997 1.9 - Arctic Silver - Manual
  • 1997 2.8 - Montreal Blue - Manual
  • 1998 2.8 - Arctic Silver - Auto
I like the power of the 2.8 but not keen on an auto box :(
1 will go but not sure at the moment.

For now I have the AC Schnitzer roll hoops, so I can at least complete my AC Schnitzer model, so they will go on the 1.9. It currently looks like this but will soon have the hoops on

Haha awesome way to get a set of Schnizter hoops! Have you tried getting them out yet as some can be a nightmare? We had a right game getting mine in and now they need to come back out to replace one of the seals at the bottom but they are well and truly stuck in!

Haven’t tried to get them out yet as the hardtop is on and it’s bloody cold outside. Will hopefully have a go this weekend.
Thanks for the heads up. Fingers crossed they will come out fairly easily.

As it’s a weekend toy rather than a daily, I am starting to favour the manual.
