Some of you may remember my Dad who accompanied me on a few of our days out zedding. Sad to say he passed away last week peacefully after 89 good years.

He especially liked the the aircraft related trips because he did his national service in the RAF with Mosquitos and lancs.

He loved my dedication to my zeddy and laughed at tales of our drives out.

This was taken at a trip to Newark air museum.

RIP Frank James love you loads x

RIP Frank James.
Know the feeling Jamezee, my Dad passed away not so long ago.

Sorry to here of your dad's passing. That was taken at my meet point at Newark truck stop which is where I first met you and I think the only time I've met you. If I recall I wasn't best happy as everyone had cleaned there cars and the place was filthy.
I'm sure your dad will want you to continue your commitment to Zeddy. :)

RIP Frank James
A sad time for your family
Take care
X

Was it the one where we were hosted by Sopers and nearly missed everything?

Would give Mark's V8 a run for it's money for sure. A bloke called John? Dodd did that back in the 70's.Not in a Z3 though ...........

Tony.

Rolls-Royce made him remove the radiator grill and the Flying Lady.

Tony.

Yeah I can remember that Spitfire engined homemade roller, and I can confirm that it was in all the custom car mags of the day that Rolls Royce threatened him with legal action if he didn't remove the flying lady from the grill.

@t-tony Wasn't there a guy who built a motor bike with a Spitfire engine too around the same time?

Possibly mate, but I don't recall it. I bet some of my old work mates would where I started work. They used to visit Santa Pod regularly back then and it would certainly have shown up there.

Tony.
