But you're right, I don't do too bad all year round :).
So I've ordered a new year pressie instead, some braided brake lines .

You'll most likely need some large flat washers for where they mount on the brackets on the car mate. I have some if you do. Or, if you fancy some help .......................

Tony.

ps. I noticed a big difference after fitting mine.

Yes i agree, I also noticed an improvement with yours . Still didn't manage to almost set them on fire though like @Sean d did with Ant's zed.

That's a very generous offer mate, thank you. Might take you up on that in the new year :).

More than welcome Steve, the pressure bleeder helps on a job like that.

Tony.

ps. My car is safe I reckon, Sean not keen on Autos;)=))

And speaking of braided hoses, make sure you get all 6, not like the van I tested this morning. He had replaced both front and rear ones to the callipers but for some unknown reason left the ones at the rear from the body to the swinging arm as standard rubber. Fancy two part discs and callipers by AP racing.

And two rubber hoses.

Defeats the object i think.

Two new jacking blocks for the Z3 have just arrived, I am very poor you understand.;)

A new set of Vanos seals and maybe some braided hoses, @Bozzy what kit have you got, I can feel a meet at @t-tony s coming on
Not bought them yet mate.
Been looking tonight at them on the net. Goodridge do a set £120 with what ever colour you want. Black diamond do a set £75 but no coloured wrap, just the bare stainless braiding.
@t-tony is it worth paying the extra for the coloured vinyl on the hoses ?.

A matter of personal choice really Steve, I got blue ones for my car but in all honesty you can hardly see anything of them when they're on the car mate. I got mine from this seller,

Check these.

Thanks @t-tony and @gookah .
The Wezmoto ones are good value by the looks of it.

I thought so Steve, the only issue I had was needing some washers to make them fit on the original brackets on the car. Problem now solved.

I guess you would have to do the same improvisation with any of the kits though mate ?.

More than likely mate, when I fitted mine I posted on here and a few peeps had said they'd had the same issue, easily sorted.

That's good to know as I may have thought by paying more, there would be less fettling when fitting them.
I'll get a set ordered soon I think, then hope the mild weather continues, it can get cold in your garage .
