Most of the spec probably wouldn't mean much to me - not being a VW man. Impressed that you can get an extra half litre out of an 1800 though!

Its less than a second quicker than the MC, and I can use that every day.
That is very true, the Beetle has been locked in a garage for 3/4 years a few miles from where my son lived but now that he has his own house with a long garage it will be on had to re commission and use.
It is impressive for a modern day car and very impressive for an old beetle that would have been 0-60 eventually maybe, I would imagine a lot of hard work has gone into the beetle to get those times.
Yes and a lot of money ,if you are interested I can send you the spec ? it nearly got sold to help with his house deposit but I sold my 1964 TR4 instead as it would rais more money which it did. I just have to make do with my Z3 now Haha which is much more comfortable for an old timer like me.
