We had an ex GPO Morris Eight van for off road use as kids, complete with wind open front windscreen!

Tony.

Hang on, say that again. 'Wind-up front windscreen? :wideyed:

Don't pretend you never heard of them?;)=))=)) Yep, hinged at the top and had a winding handle at the bottom with a short piece of bicycle chain attached which pushed the screen up to allow air in the cabin.

A posh Avenger eh? Their models had some strange names back in the USA. The Chrysler Horizon was the Dodge Omni. Mind you there were others, namely the Fiat Ritmo which in the UK was the Strada. We had another name for it, the Fart Strida...............

Cheers Alan :thumbsup::)
