Hows your memory? Show us yours

This is a bit of fun - you’ve all had some interesting cars!

Thought I’d have a go too - here’s some of my past cars:

Personal - all new except the Viva:
- Vauxhall Viva HC SL red, black vinyl roof
- Ford Fiesta XR2 Black
- Ford Fiesta XR2 White
- Ford Fiesta XR2 Mk2 Red

Then some (mostly) new company cars:
- Vauxhall Cavalier Auto Black (hand me down)
- Peugeot 405GL Blue
- Audi 80 White
- Rover 416GTi Green (hand me down)
- Vauxhall Calibra 8v Blue
- Vauxhall Calibra 8v White (used)
- Vauxhall Calibra 8v Blue
- BMW 523i Green (long term hire)
- Honda Accord Coupe 3.0 Green (USA built - great car, very thin bodywork, picked up loads of car park door dents)

Personal again - a very brief golden era!
- BMW 530d MSport Blue (bought used but glorious - sold to pay for kids education!)
- Honda NSX LHD Red (also bought used - sold to pay for kids education! If only I could have bottled the noise!).

Was I mad or what?! Bought myself a very cheap, very old, very high mileage, but very good:
- BMW 528i Blue (tarted-up to look younger than it was to help my low self-esteem at the time)!

Company again:
- Nissan Navara double cab pick-Up Grey (cheap tax - supposed to be for the outdoor life, camping etc - great until the kids lost interest!)
- Volvo 1800S White of course - (mid-life crisis 1968 car bought off Wheeler Dealers - always wanted to be The Saint!).

Current:
BMW Z3 2.2i Red (2001)

I'm not suggesting that I'm getting on a bit, but here's my list:
Horse and cart
Penny Farthing
Boneshaker
Model 'T' ford
Benz Motorwagen
Austin Seven Top Hat Saloon

After the last one I decided that this new motoring lark wouldn't catch on and went back to a horse and cart.:p

Whats next ? an SUV to replace the Astra estate, which one ? suggestions please and maybe a 2.8 or 3.00 Z3 to re[place the 1.9 but I have got attached to my 1,9 and done some mods, think the 3.00 might use to much fuel ? as I do use it as a second car.

2.8 and 3.0 are remarkably economical Geoff.

Mine is simple as i had the 318Ti sport for 14 years.

You're not alone me too :(

2.8 and 3.0 are remarkably economical Geoff.

yes I am getting a regular 16mpg in my 2.8.

I could probably do a lot more if I was to travel 50 miles to work rather than the 1.2 miles I do.

On a run 35 is no problem, but I don't go on runs 97% of the time....

Yes most of the time it’s short runs except when we go on a trip. The 1.9 I find very economical and fast enough for me but it’s the bigger engine models that are going up a bit

Nothing wrong with a Maxi, I had one as well. Just working on my list at the moment, not a huge list but it does go back to 1965!!!

Me too Pete, and racking my brain trying to remember them all.:)

Tony.
