You got some of my family history in that photo - My dad grew up just 200 yards up Mansfield Road, My uncle worked most of his working Life at Sheepbridge which is amongst those big buildings. I've walked around the reservoir many many times as a kid.
None of which brings you any consolation at all stuck in that place. I have to come up to Mansfield tomorrow - I could bring emergency rations.

@jue1 (the wife) came to see me earlier via the McDonald's in the photo but had the decency to eat it in the car before coming up! I can't have anything from mcd's or the pub as I can't have any fats in my diet and as we all know they'll laced with them! Nice to see I brought you soon fond memories back even if there not on the best terms.

They use that recipe worldwide!! There were far too many meals that sounded and looked as you describe. Had to get Joan to bring me in real food occasionally to survive. Good luck Tuesday! JIM
 
Hopefully daves last day of feeling crap as his op is booked for tomorrow morning. For those of you that have met him in the flesh you'll notice he's shrunk even more in size.
he's very fed up now and very grumpy!

Well that picture does me justice! To think I was 17 stone a few months ago! Keep smiling! Thanks for your kind wishes everyone. Can't wait to get @jue1 and get out in Reggie for a spin. I'm more than ready for a bit of therapy! :mad::thumbsup:

Cheers Jim. Going down in the morning. They reckon I'll feel much better straight away. Sounds like they'll keep me in tomorrow for observations then if all is well I'll be home Friday.
