Doesn't the King & Miller behind MacD's do take out food? Got to be a better choice (but maybe not by much...).

You got some of my family history in that photo - My dad grew up just 200 yards up Mansfield Road, My uncle worked most of his working Life at Sheepbridge which is amongst those big buildings. I've walked around the reservoir many many times as a kid.
None of which brings you any consolation at all stuck in that place. I have to come up to Mansfield tomorrow - I could bring emergency rations.

@jue1 (the wife) came to see me earlier via the McDonald's in the photo but had the decency to eat it in the car before coming up! I can't have anything from mcd's or the pub as I can't have any fats in my diet and as we all know they'll laced with them! Nice to see I brought you soon fond memories back even if there not on the best terms.

Well just to cheer you up. We have just had a barbie with home made Chicken,tomatoes and mushroom Kebabs hot and spicy pork steaks barbecue chicken drumsticks and the rest of the normal bbq stuff. Hope you get well soon Dave so you can enjoy the same some day

Brian it could have been anything! It was the worst meal I've had since I've been here. It was just a congealed mass on a plastic plate. Anyone for seconds!

They use that recipe worldwide!! There were far too many meals that sounded and looked as you describe. Had to get Joan to bring me in real food occasionally to survive. Good luck Tuesday! JIM

Cheers Jim. Going down in the morning. They reckon I'll feel much better straight away. Sounds like they'll keep me in tomorrow for observations then if all is well I'll be home Friday.
