Looks like it is fuse 24. (10 amp)

Well, I'm certainly learning from all of this - I'd never replaced a car fuse before. Didn't even know where the fuse box was. Many thanks for your advice; you were right fuse 24 had gone.

All I need to do now is get the other mirror off without breaking something else...
