Hi and welcome from me, here near Lincoln. A lovely looking car you have. Tell us a bit more about it please. Where are you located?:)

Hi!

She's a 1998 1.9i 140bhp model, and has a little over 92k miles on the clock. All completely standard as far as I know as well.

I've only had her for a couple of months but I've loved it so far!

I'm contemplating whether to leave it standard or not at the minute, I'm quite tempted to get a hardtop for it.

Located near Colchester in Essex as well

It's for you to decide about any mods you might like to do. Have a look around the forum especially in the media section and see the varying stages of mods. Some like to keep theirs as standard as the left the USA, and there's nothing wrong in that. Above all enjoy it and this great forum of ours (that includes you too) whatever you choose to do.:)

Tony.

ps. Check out the members map too, as there are several members down your end of the country.

Thank you, I will have a proper look through the site tonight!
Absolutely loving the car, so much fun to drive.

I can imagine the larger engines are even better

Fair enough!

What model do you have/any mods done to it? :)
It's a 2.8,not done any performance mods to it.....yet
Just added a wind deflector, tonneau cover and a d.a.b stereo. It has heated sports seats and cruise control which i think are great and well worth having.
As you say these are fun to drive cars and i think that's the case regardless of engine size

That reg is scarily similar!

Do you have any pictures of your zed?
Back in the day the car dealerships were given a list of registration numbers so chances are being so close together they'd have come from the same dealership. It should tell you in the front of your service booklet who the providing dealer was. Welcome to the forum. Very very nice colour zed you have there! :D
