Back in the day the car dealerships were given a list of registration numbers so chances are being so close together they'd have come from the same dealership. It should tell you in the front of your service booklet who the providing dealer was. Welcome to the forum. Very very nice colour zed you have there! :D
I'll check the booklet tomorrow, thanks for that info I never knew that.

Montreal Blue I think it is? I love it, it really shines when cleaned up (which I love doing haha)

Welcome along Ellbate. I can recommend the hard top. When I bought my car from near Clacton it came with a hard top I thought I would sell straight away. But between November and back end of March ish it goes on. I think it reminds me of my old Volvo P1800.
Your Zed looks great, I like 'em in blue.

Cheers

Jonno

Montreal blue it certainly is! Same as mine, looks fantastic in the sun, glints like a good Un! You can check everything about the build of your car. Google BMW archive and put the last 7 digits of the chassis number in and it'll give you everything from the build in the factory. Makes for an interesting read. I printed mine off and put it in my history file.

That's 8 hours of Autoglyming ........... and Guiness at the end
Well, if you had a white/cream coloured soft top Andy , it would remind you of a pint of Guiness, and would look pretty good too.:D

Yes, I once had a Hillman Avenger with a white vinyl roof. Best thing to clean it was a covering of snow. So I guess that's that idea shot down then .........................................:)

Hello and welcome ,nice zed ! I was the same when i brought mine was unsure if i wanted to modify it or leave it stock. The great thing about a zed is no two are identical the mods and vast paint / trim differences allow for a unique car and as said its yours give it your personality its all part of the fun.
This was as brought...

And now

More mods on the cards seats are the next.
What ever you decide enjoy it ...

That's a thought @t-tony if I ever get TOO! Over here which is not looking good at the moment.

Now, to the business at hand, welcome to the best Zed forum around @EllBate! Take your time going through the forums and bring back any questions you have. As for a HT, I have one for each of my z3s as it is pretty much a requirement with our winter temps here in Canada! JIM

Welcome to the wonderfull world of Z.org
Same model and colour combo.
Have done some mods on mine but not too drastic
Induction Kit
Front poly bushes and strut brace (with the tyres helped with the tramlining)
New front lights (Angel & Projectors)
De tango'd (Clear tail lights, side repeaters and Front indicators)
Small amount of bling (Chrome surrounds for heater controls and locks buttons)

Hello and welcome from Truro @EllBate Have you got Style 104 wheels on your car? They are standard fit on E85 Z4 but I think they look great on a Z3. They look even nicer when they're clean too=))

Hi, lovely zed you have there!

I do have Style 104's on, they came with it when I bought it. I'm not sure whether to keep them or go slightly larger (16" or 17") as I really like the wheel but I think the size is just a bit too small.

;)

Why not just lower your suspension an inch or so? I like the ride 16" wheels give with the extra rubber between me and the tarmac. I might lower mine a bit, but then again when I plant my fat arse in the drivers seat, my car is automatically an inch closer to the tarmac =))
