I have fitted an ACS front strut brace, and from the U.S.A. a Butt Strut lower rear strut brace and longitudinal body braces.
Recently I have replaced the Sills and 'roadster' covers etc.

I don't do wheel spinning starts, (well, not intentionally anyway ) and she doesn't go out in the wet so, fingers crossed, it'll stay that way!

A common cause for the ABS/ASC light to be on intermittently is a dirty wheel sensor. If they are faulty the light would be on permanently, so it's most likely just a bit of road dirt or brake dust.
If they've never been changed they can be a pig to get out, as I found recently as I had to replace one for my MOT last month.

Hi Guy, the above prompted me to check my boot spot welds today. I even checked under the tool tray and am happy to report all are as new! From what I have read, it seems the problem is quite random and not necessarily related to driving styles, age or if the car is kept outside or used in all weathers. You have the satisfaction of knowing that your car is now almost certainly stronger in the diff area than it was when it left Spartanburg, even if it did cost you £600. All the best.Good news....My spot welds failed. Then a split developed in the boot. I had a channel across the boot opened up and had re-enforcement added to the sub frame. Then a plate was welded over the channel and inside the boot re-sprayed. This strengthened the whole of the rear of the car not just where the Diff bracket is mounted. It cost £600 but was money well spent. I first started to hear a slight knocking at low speed from the rear of the car. Just keep checking once a year and fingers crossed yours wont go.
