I bought this online ( less the rear mouting bracket)

The two adjacent middle boxes are definitely cats !!!

Hi Andrew, certainly RealOEM call them Cats too, this is for my 2.2, yours should be the same...
There are also 2 cats in the exhaust manifolds too.

Sorry, dont think so Malc. The 2.2 are two separate runs from the manifold right to the back box. They don't go into a 'Y' like your photo of your 2.8.
