Great start to the weekend - not !!!

I don't think I'm driving it to get the best fuel economy out of it... I'm definately not getting 64mpg as per the handbook.

I was listening to the radio the other morning .... one of these serious types was on saying petrol prices were going to come down this week... at leat 5p a litre. He was explaining how speculators had horded up loads thinking they were going to make a killing with the strike and the price has to come down because everyone has cut down their usage so there's more supply than demand... not seen any evidence in our area yet..

No sign of it coming down up here either. Bet i have to go for some more by the end of this week ;)

After extensive research on the Audi site my other half has confirmed - his will do 0-60 in 5.4 secs and your temporary toy will do 4.9

My money is on my other half though :D

I will need some more fuel by the end of this week i bet - going the long way round to work in the morning :D

It's gone up 2p to 140.9 in the last week around here. :(

Well I've just had a call from my other half who is at home saying the Golf has just been delivered on a flat back.

He says it looks like a new car has just been delivered.... can't wait to go home now and see it.... piccies to follow :D

Hope the golf is as good as new - look forward to seeing some shiny pics.

Better get the hose pipe out, my temporary toy is filthy, had a fab play in it yesterday down to yorkshire :D :D :D

Well I've got the Golf back and I'm well impressed with the results.

I've run out between the rain and taken a couple of piccies, whilst they had the car I asked them to respray the back bumper as it had numerous scratches over it from loading/unloading and dogs claws :o3.

I was thinking of trading in for a newer model but after not having him for a week I appreciate what a good car he is all over again so he's staying :D

..... where is little old zeddy whilst all this fun is going on............ sat on his own by the pig shed no doubt :-o

The courtessy car is for a week - old zeddy is for life ;)

Yes thats what i think, dont think i will ever get chance to have a TTS again. Old zeddy is resting ;)

I phoned the insurance company when i got it to say all four alloys were marked/scratched and the steering column was quite scratched, looks like someone tried to get the key in the ignition without looking and let the key slip a few times, i didnt want blaming for the damage considering it was only a two hours old , so guess what they said :-o :-o dont worry about it, its only a courtesy car !!!!!!!!!!!! a bloody expensive courtesy car though! What a shame!

Blimey - before I took the 107 they lent me we had to do a full tour to confirm any marks/scars.... you would have thought it would be the other way round :-o

Golf is looking great Snoopy Snoops :) glad it was repaired OK,

I don't know how Gill could neglect poor Zeddy like that for a flash in the pan newer model and have him sitting lonesome in the rain :rain(

I mean, you would never catch me doing that too Basil ;)
