GET IT CHECKED

@billz Drink lots of water, not tea or coffee, just water and plenty of it will help get the natural process going!! And every guy out there no matter what your age get the finger treatment done and catch problems before you need surgery to correct those problems. Good luck Bill and @Jack Ratt. It's a pi$$off when it takes longer to wee than to drink a beer!! lol. JIM

Well i had my trial without catheter and i failed it. So now i have had a new catheter fitted and need to see the Urology Specialist to discuss an operation.
The good news is they have not given me bags to collect the Urine in but have fitted a valve to the end of the Catheter which means i can tuck it inside my underwear to enable me to wear shorts. Which makes me feel a lot better for when we do our euro trip.

Not what you wanted to hear but at least you will still be able to take your trip. They've tried a new process here where the take a wedge out of the prostrate which frees up the urethral tube and allows you to pee normally. The procedure seems pretty straight forward and has nearly a perfect effect rate. May be worth looking into for you! Good luck, JIM

Jim they have been doing that over here for years. That is the main operation the majority of people have with this issue its called a TURP.
I wont be able to have it before i go on Holiday as it is an 8 week recovery period

Not the news you wanted but at least its identified and a fix in place even though its going to be quite a journey getting there.
At least your planned trip is safe now and some fresh air and sun makes us all feel that little better.
