I had this recently with a car one of my daughters was running, a 2004 Fiat Panda!, it was in A1 condition with 30k on the clock and never an ounce of trouble, bought it 5 years ago for £900, she loved it - a bloke cut a corner at a junction and front ended it completely ripping out the front suspension on the drivers side. Insurance (Tesco) wrote it off and paid out £1450, a lot more than I would have considered selling it for.Haha, I was fully comp when the car got totaled and got more money from the insurance co than if I had put it up for sale before that happened.
The car was Oct 96 build date and by the way, I did not crash it, my boss did.
Just saying, not all insurance company's rip you off.
Also not saying that Gaz should do "Crash For Cash".......
