Rosie will be going up for sale soon as I just don't need two zeds in my life, don't have the spare cash to run it and don't have anywhere to park it near me. My mate who has been driving it for the last 6 months has been keeping her in great condition, and it's probably cleaner now than it has been in it's entire life. She's back on a standard exhaust because he didn't like the noise - will throw in the stainless de-cat section as well if you want it.

If anyone is interested in a well maintained (almost rebuilt underneath) factory 2.2i Sport in Topaz Blue, let me know. I'll do a proper advert later once I've decided on what she is worth...

Sensible decision, no need having two of them and someone else will get to enjoy it :)
 
I am not so sure it is a good call @GazHyde has moved over to a Z4 before and moved back to the Z3. I wonder if he will find he feels the same again in the future? I am not knocking the Z4 just they drive differently as I understand it. I have never driven one myself just saying what I have been told by those that have driven both, including GazHyde I should say.
 
Get what you are saying Duncan, but in this case I'm commuting 1200 miles a month which just isn't viable for me in the Z3 - it's just too uncomfortable and my hip was starting to complain.

Should my monthly mileage drop again then I would likely go back to a Z3, but short of getting sacked I'm in for the long run. I've bonded much better with this one than the previous Z4 for various reasons (manual/more power amongst them).

I see this one as a keeper and I'd love both, but I can hopefully convert the Z3 in to parts and upgrades for my Z4 to make it even better.

It's an internal battle I've had on and off for years now, may need counselling at some stage ;)
 
Lol just got back from 2060 mile 7 day round trip to Scotland and am just 3 month into one hip being replaced and waiting for the second to get done! Didn't notice the trip in my hips though so you better start doing some exercise or you'll be on the operating table soon as well, lol

Ok I have missed this what has the "Zed lady" (Stacey) added and does her house smell like the cat lady's or is it oily/petrol (as in Petrol head) No do not go there anyone! ?

Haha, I was fully comp when the car got totaled and got more money from the insurance co than if I had put it up for sale before that happened.
The car was Oct 96 build date and by the way, I did not crash it, my boss did.
Just saying, not all insurance company's rip you off.
Also not saying that Gaz should do "Crash For Cash".......:D
