Had to do the shopping at Tesco yesterday so as it was sunny took the Z3 and noticed that the petrol station wasn't that busy so decided to fill up. A member of staff was stopping and asking each driver "Petrol or diesel?" Me: "Petrol" and the reply: "Sorry but we've got no unleaded but we have got Momentum". Me: "That'll do nicely, thank you" :D
I noticed all the prices have gone up considerably too - every little helps !!

Not the Momentum at our Tesco - but it looked as if diesel was up a bit.

My 5 series was down to the warning light 2 weeks ago (before the strike threat) and that was £98 to fill up.
The guy in the kiosk said they wee going to start offering re-mortgages in the near future!

I needed to fill up last Thurs morning at 6.45am and had too try 3 garages, 1st wasn't open, second there was a long queue and the third just up the road was empty of customers with the till guy reading the paper so I called in there and filled up nicely :)

Sometimes I just don't get it, like the poor sole who set herself alight in the kitchen decanting petrol next to the cooker 8-} are people really that stupid?

Tim.

The garage around the corner from me jumped from 1.36 per litre up to 1.46 in one go. The owner stood outside with a massive grin on his face guiding all the cars in

Well I'm afraid if it were me, once things settle down again, that would be one garage I would be avoiding.

She won't get a Darwin unless she dies. Them's the rules ;) . I heard about a guy down south who was trying to fill his wheelie bin at the petrol station when the staff turned off the pumps. Not sure I believe it as it was on the TOG show on Radio 2 this morning.

Anyway, I'm starting to panic. I've got to wait four more days to wait until I can use another 2500 litres of veggie oil.

there was a guy in derby who had 90 litres stashed, some in a wheelie bin which melted and then leaked to the basement. They evacuated the whole area I think. The taxi driver claimed he didn't know petrol was so flammable. He got 8 months suspended sentence £1000 fine and it cost something like £10k for the services and cleanup, that is if the paper is to be believed.
