Yes it would be good for Frankie to meet as many people on his inaugural visit to the UK, and hopefully he may even come back again afterwards! ;)

I'm certainly looking forwards to showing Frankie around my local area, so if anyone else is in the Wiltshire/Hampshire area wants to meet up with us at any stage that would be great!

Hey Frankie, sadly not, I'm back at work. I have already booked 3 weeks in September to go back to Florida though. I'm counting down the days as I'm sure you are too. You will be in good hands over here.

If I'm coming down from Miller's home in Wales towards London, or where ever Gary lives, will I pass by you?

I'm afraid not Frankie I am north of London on the eastern side of the country. Rev is about 1 hour south of me in Lincolnshire and if you are heading to the Lake District I'm not sure what route you will take. If you could swing by at some point that would be great. Rev knows my location I'm sure.

If it were me I'd take the car back to Heathrow Sunday night and drop it off. I'd then take the train into London overnight there and have a day sight seeing.

If you've never seen it London is very cool and you're day will flash by. So many things to see and do.

Anyone got any other suggestions for Frankie? Anyone got the room to put him up and show him somewhere interesting?

You need now to go on the Rutland Thread, Frankie and ask to be put on the list, if it's okay. You will be welcomed with open arms, and like you said it will be an ambition fulfilled, to take part in a real forum organised cruise!!!:cool:

Ok. did you see the post about the table for 8 booked for Friday night at 7:30? Are we also having dinner with a larger group on Sat. night?
 
Frankie, Mary and myself can only make the Friday night as its our daughters birthday meal on the Saturday night.
