Found a MILF for our Tony

This thread has prompted me to disinter the old mower. It hasn't been used for about 3 years but straight away cuts perfectly. the same beautiful smooth action as all old machinery.. Cast iron rollers and good qulity steel blade, hardly ever needs sharpening. Unfortunately the lawn hasn't recovered from last years drought, the ground is so sandy here that as soon as it stops raining the grass dies.

Time for some Astro turf Mike, my daughter had her back lawn done 3yrs ago and it looks great, son in-laws ribs me every time I go round there, they’re what I call £ gardeners Mike as there garden is full of flowers already, bought ready grown from the nursery, makes my blood boil when I go see what it’s like. I don’t usually plant up until middle of may and then my garden catches up a few weeks later, then they replant as and when needed. Think I’ll sell up and buy a top floor flat.......................................................=))

Roy;)

I don't think Astro turf would suit mine, I get too much rubbish falling on it from all the trees, plus it would cost the price of a brand new car. :)

“No”but @gookah got a nice wringer.=))

Don't know why he bought it, I told him he won't get his big head through it when trying to iron them wrinkles out his forehead.

Yeh is expensive Mike, seen him sweep it every now and again, can also use a garden Hoover on it. Best thing about it is easy/lazy maintenance. The price of the actual turf isn't that bad it's the groundwork and under surface that pushes the price right through the roof, easy when you own a company that lays it.????

Roy.

@GazHyde I think you should reconsider the name of this Forum, How about Zroadster and old Lawnmower.Org
Just a thought, you know keep the children happy and all that.

Mike

I have a RILF but not a MILF.;)
