Let's hope they get on with it when it arrives back there.
It's arrived mate. Tow man rang me at 5.30, i'm hoping it'll be done so I can fetch it Saturday.

Trying to claim it back off the RAC as they refused to take it.
Pretty sure they'll only recover a vehicle once per call out Dave. That's what they told us when they recovered Amy's car several times.

In their T&Cs - they will give you a tow only on the first call out for a fault.
If you had told them to take it there directly that would have been OK.

The garage should pay or at least, return it full of fuel. That doesn’t cover the consequential costs. You’ve still 70 miles or more to drive it back.

Yes it's fixed mate by the garage though we did end up paying for the tow but that's no problem. It was a circuit board behind the dash board playing up. Haven't fetched it back yet.

That's good news that they stepped up and got it sorted one way or another.
Where in Leeds do you have to fetch it from?

Did they say what it would have cost had you been running on your own nickel Dave? No good being a mechanic today, you need to be an electronics engineer! Glad it's sorted and you have the trust back.

They didn't mate but the quotes I had elsewhere were £150-180 Just to get to what the problem was then parts or repair and fitting costs. They said they get things repaired by revtronics, can't say I've heard of it but as long as it's right I don't mind how it's done.

Yeah to Bet fair mate they were very good once I said I'd spoken with TS. Before that they weren't interested.
