Flu Jab.

Hi i have had the flu jab for a few years know mainly because my wife is in the vunerable catergory always had it in Boots the Chemist found them very efficient the jab in 2019 made me ill for a few days but all the other times i have had no problems except for a dull ache in my upper arm but that went after 48 hrs , i would definetly have it every year

This is really about the Flu jab not Covid. That's a whole different story. However, the greatest advances in everything come in times of need when money becomes no object.

Your right - my bad ! Flu Alex . . . I blame jetlag - soz guys !

We decided to go ahead with it. Carried out at the doorway of the Nurse's room in the waiting area, which seemed a bit odd. However, it's done now.

Does this make us officially old? It was bad enough when I became eligible for SAGA products!
been having the flu jab for a few years now and apart from arm ache a couple times no side effects , and as for Saga products just had the Zeds insurance renewal and down £8 to £140

Had first flu jab at 70 no side effects missed 71 and had last one back in Nov at 72 and woke up coughing, lasted all day then gone. Won't put me off getting it regularly though. Went with wife as they do it in couples if you want, took about 10min including queueing. The doctors at our practice were getting their hand in as the nurses usually do all the injections
(Practice makes perfect, ouch!!!!!) =))

Had the flu jab for last 8 years no side effects at all. Haven't had flu either during that time, had the odd cold/runny nose. Will keep on having it. The last time I had flu jab was back in October, all very organised, allotted time, face masks/hand cleanser, temp check before entry, social distancing, jab by doctor, one way system & out.
Had my Covid-19 Pfizer vaccine jab on Saturday well organised again, no after effects at all. Roll on the second one.

Good to hear about the Covid jab Pete, thank you.

Tony.

Recently we both had flu jab , never had it before, absolutely no ill effects
Unfortunately had to wait a few weeks , had to be done at doctors as government had restricted supplies to chemist.
we are in Wales
We have a great chemist , fortunately can not comment on doctor as i don't even know my doctor
