Hi All,
I am a new member to the club and I am excited to be here.
We (my wife and I) have recently become proud owners of a 2.2ltr Z3 (2002 yr) in Atlanta Blue. It is an automatic as we live in Dublin city and seeing as how we recently got the lovely accolade of being the 17th worst city in the world for traffic, thought auto was the best way to go.
I have ideas for the car already. Like larger wheels to fill the wheel arches, or lowered suspension perhaps? I don't really want to interfere too much with the car, but it just looks like it is sitting too high and the ride has a bit to much wallow. Any ideas would be much welcomed.
One of the other big things is the car does not have roll bars. Should we retro fit these?
Sorry, a lot of questions on my first hello. But I am so excited to do a few bits and pieces to the car, starting with a good clay bar and machine polish. It was sitting in a garage for fifteen years and only driven a few times over that period.
Thank you to all of you whom put this club together. I can imagine the time it takes and I very much appreciate it and all the help and advice it brings to owners like us.
With appreciation,
Liam.
