Can we have dates for when the group will be planning on crossing and when they are planning on returning as i will need to see if we can get the time off work.
 
We'd love to tag along on this trip but I can't book my holidays until the new year. Could we be added as "possibles" ?

It's our 33rd wedding anniversary a couple of weeks before so I could earn some brownie points ;)
 
@Jack Ratt I have added you to the list with the 'prov' added too. As I mentioned in the post at the beginning, if it helps we could travel over on the Saturday morning so you would not be taking up two separate weeks holidays as I can appreciate some people can only book a week block off.
 
Would you include us as possible on this one please Paul, we need to know the dates and details first before we can commit

@EnthuZiaZT Hello Mike & Sandy, Well It will be a weekend run over. Trying to keep the costs down low so everybody can enjoy the fun. So it will either be a Friday or Saturday departure and maybe a Monday or Tuesday return getting in some of the great country roads.

Will update the main post in detail around the end of November when I have some idea of numbers and then budget costings. I know @hard top is looking forward to the motley crew paying him a visit. =))=))

That would suit us better Paul. Don't want to burn to many hols in one go.

Are we any closer as to what days this will be over. ie Friday or Saturday Depart and what be the return day. The sooner i know the sooner we can give a Definite answer :thumbsup:
 
@billz a consensus seems to be travelling over first thing on the Saturday so it will not effect too much leave for people.

We are looking at Saturday out and a nice drive to the village near to the start point for the Sunday Dutch run. Then a nice relaxing evening with our Dutch friends on the Sunday evening. A suggestion is also that we have a nice drive on the Monday and visit the Sunset memorial 'last post' at the First World War battle fields. Then a hotel and a nice drive back to the port or euro tunnel for a Tuesday afternoon return.

I for one like this idea as we can enjoy a leisurely drive rather than a mass speed through the country sort of cruise. I will be booking a hotel on the Friday night near the terminal / port.

What do people think ? Happy with this ?

@Andy McDonnell fancy this one ?
 
I am happy with the Saturday to Tuesday. We will see if we can get the time off work.
