@EnthuZiaZT while I was chatting to @BMBabe and @MartinN , you were photographing my wife! That's her, in the foreground guarding the "Pup" and looking like she's nodded off!
Yes, Kevin, I do remember a Lady reading a paperback quite peacefully while I was snapping away!@EnthuZiaZT while I was chatting to @BMBabe and @MartinN , you were photographing my wife! That's her, in the foreground guarding the "Pup" and looking like she's nodded off!
Here's my version of that photo taken probably 30 minutes earlier.

Getting to the pub wasn't going to happen due to hosting daughters 16th on saturday, but made good time on the road, arriving on the end of the queue at 9.45. Didn't park up until nearly 11.00. Duxford really need to sort their entrances out.
Anyway, all those I didn't meet, please accept my apologies. There will be more days.
We had a great day, it seems its not often we get time together without kids, parents or clients interrupting. Wandering amongst all those wonderful cars in the sunshine, just chatting with the missus and the day just vanished.
and finally, one for the fantasy garage

Yep, that was for a 30 minute flight. You could buy a half decent Zed for £3,000 and it would last a lot longer than 30 minutes. Wouldn't be quite the same memories thoughBloody hell..!!!
I must confess that looking at a few of the pictures from the John Barleycorn made me laugh. Let me explain. The first time I came to visit, I met and had dinner with the EAC at the John Barleycorn. Since I had never been there before, I had only an address and similar pictures of the place to go by. Take a look at these pictures:Thanks everyone for making a wonderful day at Duxford complete and to absent EAC friends who were greatly missed today, weren't we really lucky with such amazingly sunny weather.
With around 50 to 60 Zeds attending from .org, the Z4 forum,.net and BMWCC members, a really good effort
Disappointed at not meeting Smiffy and his wife, I understand he was about somewhere.
