Hi Barry & all the Guys, Just had a great idea. *-
Have asked permission from 'The John Barleycorn pub in Duxford, if we could meet in their car park, so that we could convoy into the Spring car show across the M11 and would then be able to park together. The good thing is that you can home in to the Pub post code CB22 4PP with the satnav, they are open from 7.30am and the only request was that someone informed them when we arrive. I told her that it would only be for a short while until everyone had arrived, which she said, would be no problem :-bd
Not sure what time we need to be in the Museum by though and do we have to be early to avoid the queues :-?
Perhaps we could repay the favour by returning there afterwards for a drink or a meal.

Hi Guy's,
The Gates are open at 9:30. We should have a space allocated to .org but I need to Phone Duxford tomorrow as I haven't received this information to date. I understand from an email I did receive today from them that their pretty busy at present replying to a lot of people with concerns that the event will take place, especially after the resent rain we had.
Anyway, the event is still on so hopefully I'll be able to get back to you tomorrow with a few more instructions regarding the location of our allocated area within the airfield.

I like the sound of everything so far sorry to have been busy and a little quiet at the moment but will still be there travelling up now from Padstow Thrusday rather than home in Bideford but planning to be up there Saturday night in reasonable time. Fingers crossed.

As previously mentioned, the gates (Gate 1) will be open from 9:30 onwards. On arrival you will be handed a map showing you where .org parking has been allocated. I will be there circa 9:00 just to make sure anything is OK with the arrangements, and also meet everybody when they arrive.
So, whether you first meet at the pub in Duxford village, or come straight to the airfield, I'll hopefully see you all on Sunday!

Everyone, perhaps we had better be at the pub at 9am, because as you all well know, everyone likes to chat for a minute or two! There will also be a lot of Bank Holiday traffic, not mention queues to go in to the event. So you can bet your bottom dollar that we will probably have to wait a while at the entrance even though we will be lined up to go in at 9.30. :-?
What do you all think? Everyone. Allan is that early enough? :-bd

It's not really a problem on times as we will all be together once in the airfield. If you want to arrive at 10:00 that's OK. I'll be there anyway as I wanted to see the guy on the BMW stand anyway. I would see what times the others want to turn up and take it from there.
