I joined the gym just before Christmas and have been 5 nights a week for the past 3 weeks. Started off struggling to jog on the treadmill for a couple of minutes and I'm now upto just over 5K on the treadmill and around 12K on the bike per night. I don't really know why I'm doing it I think I just want to get fitter, considering this time 3 years ago I was in hospital and spent that long in bed I could barely walk so I suppose it's not bad.
I've just given my notice in at work to go into something completely different after being in the same job for nearly 15 years. I'll be starting at the bottom but will work my way up and hopefully be a bit happier. I've realised it's time to change things this year, hopefully the other half and myself will be getting out first house together also.
