Just need Zedwheels to hire me his for a couple of weeks.
Well if you've done everything else mate you may as well finish it off and get it done. Better the devil you know sometimes.

Find a part websites can be good too, enter the detail of you car, the part you want and they send the details country wide, if anyone has the part in stock they contact you with a price.

Car and gearbox in repairers at mo.being stipped down today so shud have a better idea tomoz.
But all indications point to an internal prob.
And all the predicted costs seem to average 1800-2k..
As ive spent about 2.5k-3k not checked exact total .over the past 10mths on replacing general parts decided to carry on get it sorted properly.No point in selling to give someone else the benefit of a sorted Zed.

Son had the Auto box in Cooper S rebuilt by Steve at Chester Auto Transmissions [01244 537070]
Car since done over a year in London traffic , and running perfect.
No connection with firm , except very happy customer.

Well its out stripped down an its fooked .Andrew the owner did explain it all.so hes on with it. along with the prop shaft bearing and coupler which i ask him t do cost 2k.
Hopefully be done mon .then to mi indi for the brakes.
