It should have the sports seats, I can walk to it in 2 minutes. If you'd like me to give it a quick once over and talk money with the guy I'm happy to have a walk round for you just let me know. Time of year you may get it at £5k. Who knows.

Well, I'm passing Mansfield this Saturday, after buying a car up in Middlesborough (old Astra estate, 23k miles, £1900, cars are so much cheaper up north!) so wil be looking at the Dakar Zed there, and as you say, could well be cheaper this time of year! The hardtop looks a shade off the body, but yellow can fade, and generally speaking the hardtops are only used in winter, so they avoid the sun.

My search definitely goes on.

I'm also tempted by a 3 litre in a different colour, or 2.8, just has to be special

I didn't realize they made a 4 wheel stud pattern on a Zed. Have a look at the close up of the rims.
