Well chopped in the very underrated Kia Cee'd Sportwagon yesterday. To my surprise, I really enjoyed driving the Kia. After selling my BMW 325 I thought that although I would appreciate the practicality of this medium estate, I would greatly miss the performance of the BM, but the Kia really pulled well where it mattered, 20 - 40, 30 - 50, 40 - 60, in 2nd,3rd, 4th and then cruising on the motorway in 6th was just 2000 revs at 80 mph,or so I'm told!
Unfortunately the Kia seems to produce a lot of road noise or wind noise or both (maybe it's just the estate roof rails) so you can only here the radio properly if you have it really loud. The GT line spec gives all the stuff and I will certainly miss the reversing camera. Never had one before,but it makes reversing into narrow spaces an absolute doddle.
Anyway,having had BM s and Audi s for a long time, the Kia didn't really do it for me so it's a new daily driver.

Really pi---d off:(:(

Love the Audi @Ontiken1 but also interested in your noise issues with the C'eed, that's high on my 'next sensible car' list, I could do with an estate for family (and breaking) reasons, I rate KIA, a friend runs a local dealership, was the noise that bad?

Cheers

@brilie sorry for your loss

Actually,I fancied a blue or red one,but as it's the 'Black Edition' model I did go for white as I think the black grill and rear skirt etc,contrast better with white.

That's terrible mate,I hope the bastards get caught. Trouble is ,if they do, they won't get what they deserve.I hope nothing personal or irreplaceable was taken or damaged.

@ spurs fan in a coupe, you would have to take a test drive in the Sportwagon and judge for yourself. Mine was the 1.6 diesel GT line version and I thought it was a really good car,as I said. I don't suppose many people would bother about the 'noise' really.I had an Avensis estate and that was the same.Maybe it's the roof bars . I guess it's what you get used to and I love driving my zed which is noisy!

@brilie, That's really good if them mate. Sometimes the little things count. Hope your sorted soon mate.

.I hope nothing personal or irreplaceable was taken or damaged.

I concur with this sentiment Brian, I do know how it feels to have your house "violated" but if you still have anything of personal value that's as good as it gets. Sometimes those shits will take things just to throw away to cause you pain. They need stringing up if they get caught.

Tony.
